Tarwa N-Tiniri is one of Morocco’s most captivating desert blues bands, delivering an authentic and emotionally powerful sound shaped by the landscapes and stories of the Daraa Valley. Formed in 2012 in Ouarzazate by a group of childhood friends, the band has evolved into a rising international act, celebrated for their raw energy, cultural depth, and unique Amazigh identity.
Their name carries their mission: “Tarwa” means generation, and “N-Tiniri” means of the desert—a bold statement of heritage, responsibility, and artistic purpose. Through their music, they embody the voices of desert communities and bring Amazigh culture to global stages.
